Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of InsureCompare, including insurance comparison tools, product listings, saved comparisons, product requests, paid access, and Insurance AI.

InsureCompare is operated by ONEPLANNER TECHNOLOGIES (202503272767 [NS0314486-M]). ONEPLANNER TECHNOLOGIES is the contracting entity for the service. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the service. If you use InsureCompare for a company, agency, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining credential security, and all activity under your account. We may require email confirmation before enabling certain features.

2. Informational Platform Only

InsureCompare provides software tools, comparison tools, structured product information, document references, and AI-assisted explanations for research purposes. ONEPLANNER TECHNOLOGIES is a software company. We are not an insurer, takaful operator, insurance agent, insurance broker, financial adviser, financial planner, underwriter, claims handler, or agent of any insurer.

The service does not provide regulated insurance advice, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, underwriting decisions, suitability recommendations, or an offer to buy or sell insurance. You must verify premiums, benefits, exclusions, eligibility, underwriting terms, claims terms, and final policy wording directly with the insurer, takaful operator, licensed adviser, or authorized intermediary before making a decision.

3. Product Information and AI Outputs

Product data may be extracted from brochures, product disclosure sheets, provider pages, public sources, admin-uploaded materials, or user-submitted requests. It may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, misclassified, or different from the final terms issued by a provider.

Insurance AI uses selected platform product data and recent chat context to generate responses. AI output may be incomplete or wrong and must not be treated as professional advice, a final comparison, or a recommendation. You are responsible for reviewing source documents and exercising professional judgment.

4. User Content and Uploads

You may submit product requests, report errors, name saved comparisons, upload product documents, or send AI chat messages. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit that content and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe third party rights.

Do not submit client personal data, health records, NRIC numbers, private policy schedules, confidential insurer materials, or other sensitive information unless you have authority and a lawful basis to do so. We may remove, reject, or disable access to content at our discretion.

5. Paid Access and Subscriptions

Some features require paid access. Prices, included features, billing intervals, taxes, and checkout details are shown before payment. The current monthly subscriptions are RM15 (Core Plan) and RM25 (Agent Plan), with annual options of RM150 and RM250 respectively, unless changed on the pricing or checkout page. AI top-ups are optional add-ons. Paid access may be activated, limited, suspended, cancelled, or terminated according to these Terms, the Payment Policy, the Refund Policy, and applicable law.

Referral promotions may reduce an eligible new subscriber's first month on the monthly Agent Plan to RM15. Referral credits are promotional account credits, cannot be exchanged for cash, and can never reduce a subscription below RM5 per month — up to RM10 of credit per calendar month on the Core Plan and up to RM20 per calendar month on the Agent Plan.

6. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Use the service for unlawful, misleading, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
• Represent InsureCompare output as regulated advice or final policy terms.
• Upload malware, unlawful content, or data you are not authorized to share.
• Scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute service content without permission.
• Bypass paywalls, usage limits, rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
• Interfere with the service, infrastructure, analytics, billing, or AI systems.
• Use automated queries or bots except where we provide written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The service, software, interface, designs, trademarks, compiled product data, and generated comparison structures are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The service may link to or integrate with third-party websites, payment processors, authentication providers, AI providers, hosting providers, insurer pages, and product documents. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, or policies.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, misused paid features, abused AI or upload features, failed payment, or if we are required to do so by law or a service provider.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and suitability for any insurance or financial decision.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, insurance decision losses, or reliance on product information or AI output.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, unless another governing law is required by applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated through the service where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
